Be aware and beware.  they tell us to hate the wicked, they tell us who the wicked are. The gypsies , the nomads, the thieves, the liars, freaks & monsters. Homeless or camped in several cities for 6 years, some have come to know us as friends, while others fear us. We have touched many hearts and changed many souls. Over 75 kindred have wandered the lost highways of America in search of each one’s unique inspiration. Some have found answers, some have found home, some have have found a living nightmare, some have lost their minds. And yes, some may have died.
The music and the theatre wrestled with the limits of an elite underground subculture, always pushing the limits in attempts to redefine its structure, always breaking the rules, bending its premise.  After all it was not about music, music was only the soundtrack to a lifestyle. A way of life.

There are so many tales to tell, the distance is always up ahead and not so far behind. This is a love story, a war story, a human drama, and an X-file. It was a revolution circus, a caravan, a mutant dream born and destroyed by all of us. We have survived fires and police harassment, we have survived illness and insanity, we have survived the liars and the thieves, we have survied the blind side of the politically correct and the cruelty of the self important turf protecting music scenes. We have fought for the underground, the lonely souls, the misfits. Time and time again we have suffered under the stress of our own convictions. We may not survive our own evolution and now we wonder if the legend of the phoenix will rescue us from oblivion. This is Apox 2001. The songs and the stories. This is our darkest hour.
